Tax Manager
Asha joined Wisteria in February 2026 and works as a Manager within the Tax department.
In Asha's free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking and fitness as well as spending time with her family and friends.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
I was interested in obtaining a professional qualification and the Chartered Accountancy qualification is recognised worldwide. I have worked in general practice for the entirety of my accountancy career and enjoy guiding business owners through the financial area of their business.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
I enjoy the intricacies of tax; I am curious and like to keep learning. The varied nature of my role means that there is never a dull day. Juggling the workload of a diverse client portfolio can be difficult, however implementing processes and refining those as we go along keeps things on track.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
Working in tax requires an individual to have a methodical approach with an attention for detail. I have a proven track record of delivering proactive, diligent client service with the highest standards of care. Approaching a difficult task from different angles is important to ensure that the work is carried out efficiently the first time.
