Wisteria held a very successful house-warming party on Friday to celebrate their office-move and their recent win at the British Accountancy Awards. nick_hurd The party was attended by Nick Hurd (MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner) – second from left in the above photo – Councillor Catherine Dann and a number of Wisteria’s ‘local’ clients. The ‘house-warming gave us an opportunity to celebrate success at the British Accountancy Award whilst showcasing the people and services provided by Choices 4 All, the charity who featured in Wisteria’s Community Award nomination. Choices 4 All is a non-profit-making organisation which helps people with disabilities and learning difficulties to gain self-confidence and independence via skills training, a Job-club and work placements. Over the past year, 11 employees at Wisteria have worked directly with Choices 4 all. Wisteria have been involved in a number of areas including assisting the charity to find new offices and leading the negotiations with the new landlords to secure a 50% reduction in rental costs as well as assisting with the reorganisation of the Board of Trustees. In addition, following the implementation of the ‘Gift Aid’ system recommended by Wisteria’s Tax team, Choices 4 All maximised the income they receive from donations. choices_for_all “We’re delighted to share our new surroundings and recent Community Award with Choices 4 All and the local community.” said Andrew Millet, Director, Wisteria. “We’ve had an amazing 2015.
